Position Description

Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Conyers, GA.

You may wonder what your paycheck will look like: $1,385 per week or more.

Hours:

45+ per week, paid training, Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, start time 2:00 PM.

Job specifics:
Deliver SOLO to shuttling and yard hostler. Route:
Local Home Daily. Tractor type:
Day Cab & Yard Tractor. Trailers:
Dry Van, 48′, 53′. Freight:
No Touch – Live Load and Unload.

Trucks are 36 months or newer, 24/7 roadside maintenance, company drivers fuel trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass background and motor vehicle check for the last 3 years
• Pass DOT physical
• Pass Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A verifiable experience: 9 months within past 3 years, or 2 years within last 5 years, or 5 years within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
