Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Conyers, GA.

Pay: $1,385 or more per week. Hourly pay: $29.50 per hour.

Hours:

45+ per week.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, no weekends. Start time: 2:00 PM.

Deliver SOLO To:
Shuttling and Yard Hostler. Route:
Local Home Daily. Tractor type:
Day Cab & Yard Tractor. Trailer type:
Dry Van, 48', 53’. Freight:
No Touch – Live Load and Unload.

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance and company drivers fuel up at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle check.
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards, maintain accurate records and logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
