We are seeking a reliable and professional Events & Operations Assistant to join our estate planning and elder law practice in a full-time capacity. This role supports client-facing signing appointments, internal office operations, and community outreach events. The Events & Operations Assistant plays an important role in ensuring smooth daily operations while helping deliver a high-quality experience to both clients and the community.
- Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday.
- Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required for community events or workshops.
- In-office role with active involvement in client meetings and firm events.
- Serve as a formal witness during estate planning document signing ceremonies.
- Observe and help ensure estate planning documents are executed in accordance with firm procedures and legal requirements.
- Maintain a professional, calm, and client-focused presence during signing appointments.
- Assist attorneys and staff during live community workshops, seminars, and educational events.
- Support event logistics, including setup, check-in, materials preparation, and breakdown.
- Represent the firm professionally when interacting with community members, partners, and event attendees.
- Provide administrative and operational support to attorneys and paralegals.
- Assist with file organization, document preparation, scanning, and digital file management.
- Support day-to-day office operations to ensure efficiency and organization.
- Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned to support the firm's needs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Professional demeanor and comfort working directly with clients in sensitive situations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
$16 - $20 hourly
