Outpatient clinic located on the hospital campus
- Position: Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) – Full-Time
- Practice Model: Collaborative OB/CNM practice with comprehensive care team support
- Schedule: 2.5 clinic days plus 1 surgery day per week
- Call: 1:4 backup call coverage for CNM hospitalists, supported by a PRN pool
This is a modern women’s health practice partnered with a hospital system to deliver patient-centered obstetric and gynecologic care. Position SummaryWe are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN, open to both new graduates and experienced physicians, to join a growing practice in Cookeville, Tennessee. This is a full-scope outpatient OB/GYN role with opportunities for gynecologic surgery and a schedule designed to support long-term sustainability, flexibility, and career satisfaction. Mentorship and strong team support are available for new graduates, while experienced physicians are offered autonomy and opportunities to contribute to clinical leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Provide full-scope outpatient obstetrical and gynecological care, including gynecologic surgery.
- Practice within a collaborative OB/CNM model focused on patient-centered care.
- Participate in a manageable call schedule with 1:4 backup call coverage for CNM hospitalists.
- Collaborate with a comprehensive care team including LCSWs, lactation consultants, educators, and other specialists.
- Utilize integrated technology platforms to enhance patient engagement and provider efficiency.
- Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives.
- Board certified or traveled board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Open to both new graduates and experienced physicians.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative care model.
- Patient-centered approach emphasizing shared decision-making and holistic care.
- Active DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Eligible for licensure upon start date.
- 2.5 clinic days plus 1 surgery day per week.
