Dual Enrollment Coordinator (Admissions and Enrollment Specialist II)

Job Purpose
Manage and oversee all aspects of the dual enrollment admissions process while serving as the main point of contact for dual enrollment students and high school counselors, and recruiting first‑time undergraduate students in surrounding areas.
Essential Functions
- Recruit and enroll eligible high school students by promoting opportunities and guiding them through the application, registration, and enrollment process.
- Assist with processing admission documents and coordinate course offerings and scheduling with high schools in collaboration with the Records Office and academic departments.
- Facilitate communication among the Business Office, Financial Aid, Records, Student Services, and academic departments to ensure a seamless student experience.
- Develop strategies to encourage dual enrollment students to transition into degree‑seeking status after high school completion.
- Manage an assigned recruitment territory, including traveling for high school visits, college fairs, and recruitment events; delivering presentations on and off campus; building relationships with prospective students; and assisting with institutional recruitment events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
- Ability to multi‑task, work independently, and collaborate as part of a team.
- Strong customer service skills and sound judgment.
- Effective written and oral communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to present effectively in both small and large group settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- Two years of experience in higher education.
- Experience working with students in a dual enrollment setting.
- Event planning experience.
- Experience with a CRM system such as Slate.
Work Hours
Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Additional evenings and weekends as needed for events.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary commensurate with education and experience (Pay grade
7). Benefits include accumulated vacation and sick leave days, university holidays, medical and life insurance (shared cost), retirement, optional 401(k), and educational benefits.
