Travel RN - Telemetry - Stepdown

American Traveler is hiring a Stepdown Neuro RN for a night shift contract requiring 2+ years of experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN state or compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Neuro experience preferred
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Cardiac experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Work in the Stepdown Neuro unit of a hospital setting
• Patient ratios of 4:1 on day shift and 5:1 on night shift
• Primarily night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00) with some day shift rotation
• Required to work every other weekend
• Open to accommodating a block schedule
• Uses Paragon charting system
• Provide stepdown level care to neurological patients requiring close monitoring
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• No time off approved between 2/8/26 and 3/26/26
