Base Pay Range

$17.00/hr - $20.00/hr

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including all required system start‑ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day; responsible for opening the back door for deliveries.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Hold store keys and open/close the store without management as necessary.
• Assist with and coach other team members on the warehouse and vendor ordering process, including opening the backdoor for vendor deliveries.
• Register all related sales on assigned cash register, maintaining records of scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids.
• Assist manager or assistant manager in reviewing order exceptions on order release day and in reverse logistics.
• Assist manager or assistant manager in evaluating and developing displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and the accuracy of on‑hand quantities in all locations.
• Assist with ensuring the Outdate program is followed with team members.
• Handle basic department pricing and make daily price changes; ensure proper signage is displayed to support accurate pricing of products and comply with local regulations.
• Assist with bookkeeping activities, including cash report, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payment as necessary.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to keep the store clean, neat, and orderly; request repairs as required.
• Separate food items (e.g., raw from pre‑cooked) and manage product placement as specified by policies; use first‑in, first‑out method for consumables.
• Use store systems and equipment effectively.
• Assist at the pharmacy window as requested.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
• Check bags of team members before leaving the store.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager.

• Serve as a liaison between management and non‑management team members by communicating assigned tasks when management is absent.
• Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).

• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered.
• Obtain and maintain valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
