Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be partnering with a successful and growing business to recruit a Management Accountant. Working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, you will play a key role in providing financial insight, supporting commercial decision-making and driving the continued growth of the business.

Your new role As Management Accountant, you will take ownership of the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls and meaningful commercial analysis that supports strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities will include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow statements Production of weekly KPI dashboards and monthly board reports Ownership of annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes Weekly cashflow forecasting and working capital management Analysis of profitability across customers, projects and product lines Supporting pricing decisions, tender reviews and investment appraisals Monitoring manufacturing costs, labour recovery, WIP, stock valuations and gross margins Preparation of VAT returns, statutory reporting and year-end accounts Maintaining robust financial controls and compliance procedures Overseeing payroll and finance administration activities Driving process improvements, automation and reporting enhancements Providing commercial support and financial insight to senior management Supporting capital investment projects, grant claims and strategic planning initiatives What you'll need to succeed Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant Minimum 2 years' post-qualified experience
