Accountant, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections, Financial Reporting

Working alongside the existing Accountant, the successful candidate will provide additional support within the finance function and take responsibility for a range of accounting activities, including monthly management accounts, reconciliations, Accounts Payable and Receivable, payroll, forecasting and cash flow reporting. This is a varied role offering the opportunity to become an integral part of the finance team and make a positive contribution to the continued development of the business.

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and ensuring the accuracy of financial information.
• Oversee and manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Process and manage payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Assist with financial forecasting and cash flow reporting.
• Work closely with the existing Accountant to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the finance function.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure financial information is complete and up to date.
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis as required.
• Support the wider finance function with other accounting duties as necessary.

We are seeking an experienced finance professional who is confident working across a broad range of accounting duties.

• Previous experience in an Accountant, Management Accountant, Accounts Technician or Assistant Accountant role.
• Experience preparing monthly management accounts.
• Strong reconciliation and financial reporting skills.
• Experience across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Payroll experience.
• Good understanding of cash flow and financial forecasting.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
