The job in a nutshell:
This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to take thenext step in their commercial career. You'll work across a varied portfolio of construction and refurbishment projects throughout Northern Ireland, taking increasing ownership of projects fromprocurement through to final account. Depending on your current level, you'll get involved in:
Commercial management of construction projects Interim valuations and final accounts Cost planning, budgeting and forecasting Subcontractor and material procurement Negotiating subcontract packages Managing variations and additional works Subcontractor valuations and payments Measurement of works Cost reporting Client and site progress meetings Working with operational teams to maximise profitability The role can be based from either Belfast or Cookstown, with site visits throughout Northern Ireland.

Quantity Surveyor Project Quantity Surveyor Intermediate Quantity Surveyor Estimator / Quantity Surveyor Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to step up Commercial Administrator looking to progress into QS Ideally, you'll bring around 3 years' Quantity Surveying experience, with main contractor experience particularly attractive. A Degree, HND or HNC in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar is also preferred. Most importantly, you'll need good commercial awareness, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ambition to take on greater project responsibility.
