Job Title: Technical Detailer
Location: Cookstown
About the RoleAs a Technical Detailer you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering customised masonry support drawings to customer specifications, collaborating closely with clients, project and structural engineers.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the role is full-time, 37 hours per week, based in Cookstown, County Tyrone.
The is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded individual with strong structural detailing experience to develop their career ina busy growing environment.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday: 8.00am – 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am – 2.00pm
- Prepare and produce fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures in accordance with project requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and design information.
- Liaise with engineers, project managers and customer where applicable to resolve technical queries
- Identify discrepancies and installation issues prior to manufacture.
- Make revisions to drawings as required through the project lifecycle, working to agreed timescales and quality standards
- Ensure accurate and detailed document control is in place to ensure drawings are issued correctly.

- Previous demonstrable experience in structural steel detailing, specifically Tekla structures
- Basic proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD) and other relevant design tools.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge and understanding of construction industry.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build positive customer relationships.
