Graduate​/Junior Engineer

INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Job Title – Graduate/ Junior Engineer - Building

Project – Hight Rise RC Frame

Job Location – Mainland UK – travel & accommodation included

Salary – £30K - £35K plus package

About the Company

Working alongside a leading Main Contractor with a reputation for delivering award winning design & build projects across NI, UK & ROI.

They are keen to work with a Candidate that is eager to learn and progress in their career. This role will provide a Junior or Graduate Engineer valuable experience working on interesting projects and RC Frames while helping them progress into professional site management.

The Role

• Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
• Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
• Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager & Senior Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
• Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.

Requirements

• A Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum placement experience in an engineering role.
• Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
