The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, the Environmental Coordinator will play a key role to ensure environmental compliance across the Dunmanbridge facility and support continuous improvement of environmental performance. What youll be doing:
Maintenance and development of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, to include:
Management of internal auditing and environmental communications Development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures Identifying training needs Management of nonconformances, aspects, and impacts, environmental management program etc Management of the PPC(IE) permit, to include:
Point of contact for pollution inspector Preparation and submission of all Reports and PPC variations Carry out internal auditing of permit clauses Preparing, developing, and chairing Quarterly Environmental Compliance meeting Preparing and circulating Annual Compliance Inspection and Environmental Report. Complete weekly environmental site walk-round inspects and complete actions Management of water abstraction licences Management of trade effluent consent Implementation and development of Site Protection and Monitoring Programme (SPMP) Compliance of waste disposal Management of nuisance issues (odour, noise) as required, including for other group sites.
Carry out other duties or cover as reasonably required within the group. What we are looking for: 3 rd level qualification in either an engineering or environmental discipline 2 years manufacturing experience managing environmental compliance including PPC (IE) permitting. Demonstration of environmental auditing skills Wording knowledge and proven experience of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc) High attention to detail, ability to work independently and respond to out of hours contact Right to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not available) Why Dale Farm?
