Mechanical Design Engineer Our client a leading multi site global engineer company in Cookstown due to continued success are recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. They offer a range of benefits and with the successful acquisition of new projects they are hiring both Design and Senior Design Engineers. Main Responsibilities Designing an innovate range of products from concept to completion Develop detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing, aligned to the companys production processes and machinery Creating BOM lists Use CAD design software to create models and drawings of products As appropriate, to research and keep up to date with new materials, parts and methods of deployment Organise and maintain engineering records Ensure components and designs meet applicable industry and business standards Liaise with manufacturing to ensure that products are manufactured according to the drawing and designs, and to provide design engineering advice as required

Essential Criteria Engineering / design qualification. Minimum 2 year engineering experience In-depth knowledge of Solidworks/Revit Knowledge of manufacturing processes. Impeccable attention to detail. Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively.
