Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer | Northern Ireland | Permanent | £36k - £39k Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for sustainability and problem-solving? We're looking for a Field-Based Service Engineer to help deliver carbon-neutral solutions across Northern Ireland. You'll join a supportive team working on cutting-edge biomass steam boiler systems, helping to maintain, repair, ad optimise performance on-site. What You'll Be Doing:
Travel to client sites across Scotland (some overnight stays required) Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on biomass steam boilers Perform fault-finding, servicing, and equipment repairs Maintain accurate records using a computerised maintenance system Ensure high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance Support customer relationships with clear, confident communication What You'll Need: HND or time-served apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical engineering At least 2 years' industrial engineering experience (electrical bias preferred) Field service or multi-site maintenance experience Full UK driving licence A flexible, hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills Bonus points for experience with steam boilers, biomass systems, or PLCs.
