• Qualified or Part Qualified Accounts Technician (AAT or IATI)
• At least 2 years' experience in a busy finance setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel
• Keen eye for detail with excellent organisational skills
• Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritise effectively
• Legally authorised to work in the UK

• Assist with preparing annual accounts for small and medium‑sized companies, ensuring compliance and timely delivery
• Support audit processes and respond to audit queries
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and accounts to relevant authorities
• Manage cash book postings and conduct monthly bank reconciliations
• Oversee sales ledger activities, including debtor statement reconciliations
• Liaise with external contacts as needed
• Perform additional finance duties to support the team's objectives
