We are recruiting on behalf of a leading care provider for permanent Social Care Workers to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and associated support needs within residential services. The Role As a Social Care Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, enabling them to achieve their personal goals and maximise their independence. You will work as part of a dedicated team, supporting service users with daily living activities while promoting choice, dignity, rights, and inclusion within their local communities.

Key Responsibilities Deliver person-centred support tailored to individual needs Assist with personal care and daily living activities Promote independence, choice, dignity, and wellbeing Support individuals to achieve personal outcomes and goals Encourage participation in community and social activities Maintain accurate records, reports, and support documentation Administer medication in line with policies and procedures Complete risk assessments and care-related documentation Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory standards are maintained Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and multidisciplinary teams Support individuals using positive behaviour support approaches and least restrictive practices Contribute positively to a professional and supportive team culture What We're Looking For Essential Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Social Care or a related discipline OR Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar setting such as:
Residential Care Domiciliary Care Supported Living Learning Disability Services Autism Services Day Services NISCC Registration (or evidence of application where required) Full UK/ROI Driving Licence and access to transport for work purposes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults

Desirable Experience supporting individuals who may present with behaviours of concern Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practice frameworks Experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and electronic record systems
