39 Hours per Week | Permanent Contract
24/7 Rotational Shift Pattern 8 hour and 12 hour shifts available plus sleepovers

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading care provider for permanent Social Care Workers to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and associated support needs within residential services.

The Role
As a Social Care Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, enabling them to achieve their personal goals and maximise their independence.
You will work as part of a dedicated team, supporting service users with daily living activities while promoting choice, dignity, rights, and inclusion within their local communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred support tailored to individual needs
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities
- Promote independence, choice, dignity, and wellbeing
- Support individuals to achieve personal outcomes and goals
- Encourage participation in community and social activities
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and support documentation
- Administer medication in line with policies and procedures
- Complete risk assessments and care-related documentation
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory standards are maintained
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support individuals using positive behaviour support approaches and least restrictive practices
- Contribute positively to a professional and supportive team culture
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Social Care or a related discipline
OR
- Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar setting such as:
- Residential Care
- Domiciliary Care
- Supported Living
- Learning Disability Services
- Autism Services
- Day Services
- NISCC Registration (or evidence of application where required)
- Full UK/ROI Driving Licence and access to transport for work purposes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults
Desirable
- Experience supporting individuals who may present with behaviours of concern
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practice frameworks
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and electronic record systems
