Key Responsibilities:

Lead and continuously improve the company's Health & Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice. Develop, implement and communicate Health & Safety policies, procedures, risk assessments and safe systems of work across all sites. Conduct inspections, audits and compliance checks, investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions where required. Deliver Health & Safety training, inductions and toolbox talks while promoting a positive safety culture and employee engagement.

Maintain accurate Health & Safety records and coordinate external audits, including ISO 45001 accreditation activities. Monitor legislative changes, liaise with external advisors and provide regular Health & Safety reports and updates to senior management. Criteria: NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent Health & Safety qualification. Alternatively, currently working towards a recognised professional Health & Safety qualification. Proven experience conducting risk assessments, health and safety compliance reviews, and audits.

Strong understanding of the Health and Safety at Work (NI) Order 1978 and associated health and safety legislation. Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience implementing and managing Health & Safety Management Systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Ability to deliver engaging training sessions to individuals and groups. Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Strong reporting and record-keeping capabilities.
