Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm Pay:
Up to £12.71 per hour Benefits Free on-site parking. Health and wellbeing programme. Referral programme. Full training provided. Main Duties Pick products from warehouse racking and designated stock locations. Check picked products against orders to ensure the correct items and quantities have been selected. Prepare and organise products for the finishing process. Move products safely between the warehouse, production and finishing areas.
Handle finished products carefully to prevent scratches, marks or other damage. Check finished products for visible damage or defects before packing. Pack products securely using the correct materials and methods. Label and organise completed orders ready for dispatch. Build, wrap and label pallets where required. Use aisle pickers and high-level picking equipment to retrieve stock. Operate forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment safely when trained and authorised.
Load and unload vehicles and move stock within the warehouse. Record stock movements accurately using the warehouse system. Complete pre-use safety checks on warehouse equipment. Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment. Follow manual handling procedures and site safety rules. Work closely with the warehouse and production teams to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. Requirements Previous warehouse, manufacturing, packing or production experience is desirable but not essential.
Experience picking, handling or packing finished products would be advantageous. A valid forklift licence or previous forklift experience is desirable but not essential. Comfortable using aisle or high-level picking equipment and working at height when required. Physically fit and able to undertake regular manual handling, including lifting and moving large or heavy items safely. Good attention to detail when picking, checking and packing products.
Able to handle finished products carefully to avoid damage. Good organisational skills and the ability to keep products and orders correctly identified. Comfortable standing and remaining physically active throughout the shift. Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team. Committed to maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping and workplace safety. Full training will be provided on all relevant equipment, processes and safe working practices.
