JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
SummaryTo support the Head of QHSE with the ongoing H&S and Compliance requirements of the Coolidge Operation.
Main responsibilities- Responsible for helping to develop, implement, and oversight of workplace safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all employees.
- Daily oversight of the H&S reporting system
- Auditing facility requirements from AFRA / H&S perspective
- Conducts investigations into incidents and accidents and makes recommendations on corrective action
- Ensures compliance with regulations by staying up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and ensuring that the workplace adheres to those regulations
- Assisting Managers and Staff to complete Risk Assessments
- Creation of Quality and H&S Audit Programmes
- Conducting audits for Quality and H&S and generation of reports and actions
- Processing Occurrence Reports and Investigations (when required)
- Creation of monthly reports monitoring performance via ELMS / Fresh Service
- Tracks safety performance for the site
- Develops and maintains a strong safety culture
- Provides safety training to employees on safety procedures, regulations, and the use of safety equipment
- Good Communication skills
- High Attention to detail
- Ability to work on own and use initiative
- Energized/Enthusiastic with a professional ‘can do’ attitude
- Previous experience in FAA environment
- The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- H&S Competence in OSHA/FAA/EASA Regulations
- Trained Investigator
- Qualified Internal Auditor
- Technical knowledge and experience in aviation or engineering environment
- Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint) etc
