Position SummaryThe Phlebotomist II plays a key role in delivering high-quality patient care by collecting and processing specimens accurately and efficiently. This position serves as the primary point of contact for patients, providing a professional and compassionate experience while adhering to all safety, compliance, and confidentiality standards. The Phlebotomist II demonstrates technical expertise, leadership behaviors, and a strong commitment to process excellence in all daily operations.

Contract Length: 3-4 months with the possibility of extension
Pay range: $20 to $25 per hour on W2 (As per your experience)
Experience- Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- At least 2 years of experience in a patient service center or healthcare environment preferred.
- Customer service experience in a medical, retail, or service environment desirable.
- Keyboarding and data entry proficiency required.
- Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric.
- Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.
- Verify patient identity and ensure all samples are properly labeled and documented in the patient’s presence.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment that complies with all health and safety regulations.
- Demonstrate superior customer service and professionalism when interacting with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.
- Accurately complete records, logs, and documentation related to specimen collection and processing.
- Adhere to organizational policies, including confidentiality, dress code, and quality control procedures.
- Manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.
- Travel to assigned patient service centers or in-office phlebotomy locations as needed to provide coverage.
- Remain flexible to accommodate business needs, including weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime assignments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a medical assistant, paramedic, or phlebotomy training program preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
