Compensation
  • Hourly Pay $31.00-$41.00 per hour, based on experience.
  • $7,500 sign‑on bonus, half paid out after 90 days of employment and half paid out after 180 days.
  • $400 annual tool allowance.
  • Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.
  • Typical work week is 40‑50 hours per week.
  • Weekly paychecks.

Work Schedule
  • Monday‑Friday
  • Work 10:00am‑6:00pm; work until work is completed. Typically 8‑10 hours per day.
  • Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule.
Responsibilities
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative and as‑needed maintenance of diesel trucks and electronic vehicles.
  • Properly operate the mobile service truck and attend to truck inventory.
  • Interpret and follow work orders and technical manuals.
  • Travel to locations to perform on‑site diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with management, providing them with detailed breakdowns of service requirements and costs.
  • Maintain schedules and document completed preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance; ensure work meets manufacturer’s specifications according to FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations).
  • Maintaining parts and yard organization (with direction from operations management) to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing preventative maintenance program on diesel engines.
  • Knowledge of air, electronic, braking, and suspension systems as well as general mechanical operation and/or light body repair.
  • Familiar with FHWA (Federal Highway Administration), and FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations), BIT (Basic Inspection of Terminals) inspections.
  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Candidate must provide his/her own tools.
  • Must have a valid and current US driver’s license; no CDL required.
