Job Summary

The role varies from Tech B & A, providing quality services with a focus on customer satisfaction and safety, to Special Tech I & II, providing leadership and performing technical services.

Essential Functions

Perform duties safely at all times.

Service, inspect, and install residential and commercial gas and electric appliances and HVAC equipment, ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

Maintain and repair the gas distribution system, including meters and regulators.

Promote and ensure customer satisfaction, selling Home Service Plus products and maintaining professional relationships.

Respond to emergencies to ensure safety and service continuity.

Maintain records, operate vehicles safely, and manage inventory and PPE.

Perform additional tasks like leak surveys, line locating, and equipment transport.

Participate in training and assist colleagues with technical and safety knowledge.

Education and Experience

Completion of a 1- or 2-year certificate, diploma, or associate degree in heating, refrigeration, or related fields, or equivalent experience.

Tech B: Entry-level, with at least 2 years' experience without a degree.

Tech A: Must have 6 months in a Tech B role.

Special Tech II: Must meet contractual requirements, hold relevant certificates, and meet licensing and qualification standards.
