The Truck Driver drives a truck to transport materials to and from specified destinations.

The ideal candidate is a safe, dependable driver with experience transporting materials locally and a strong understanding of traffic laws and commercial driving practices. They take pride in operating vehicles responsibly, maintaining logs and paperwork, and ensuring materials are secured, counted, and delivered accurately.

1st Shift Monday through Friday; 7:00 a.m.

- 3:30 p.m.

The anticipated starting hourly rate for this position is $20.93 to $27.95. The exact rate may be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.

• Applies knowledge of commercial driving regulations and area roads.
• May prepare receipts, maintain truck log, load and unload truck, and inspect truck equipment and supplies.
• May operate forklift truck to load, unload, and move materials from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Counts, weighs, and or records number of units of materials moved or handled.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials.
• Must have good driving record and operate vehicles in a safe manner by abiding in all federal and state traffic laws.

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED
• 1 year of related experience
• Fork Truck Certification
• Class D Driver’s License

• 2 years of related experience

• Talk by expressing or exchanging communication by means of the spoken work to impart oral information
• Hear by perceiving the nature of sounds by ear
• Adjust vision to bring objects into sharp focus
