Senior Trade Compliance Analyst

• Prepare, review, and approve import documentation to ensure compliance with U.S. CBP and FDA regulations
• Manage classification, documentation, and broker engagement for U.S. FDA-regulated products
• Coordinate import/export operations with LATAM brokers and forwarders, ensuring compliance with local customs requirements
• Administer SOPs/work instructions for import/export processes and conduct internal audits
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce customs clearance cycle time and enhance data accuracy

• 3–5+ years of experience in import/export and trade compliance, particularly within LATAM and U.S. CBP/FDA processes
• Proficiency in HTS classification, CBP entry processes, and FDA medical device requirements
• Strong familiarity with ERP/TMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Language proficiency in English;
  Spanish is a plus but not essential

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, international business, or Supply Chain Management, with a preference for advanced degrees
• Experience with LATAM health authorities (e.g., ANVISA/COFEPRIS/INVIMA)
• Knowledge of EAR/ITAR basics and customs brokerage experience
• Familiarity with Honduran customs procedures and CAUCA/RECAUCA frameworks
• Experience in creating SOPs and leading audits
