- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance operational efficiency and compliance
- Prepare, review, and approve import documentation to ensure compliance with U.S. CBP and FDA regulations
- Manage classification, documentation, and broker engagement for U.S. FDA-regulated products
- Coordinate import/export operations with LATAM brokers and forwarders, ensuring compliance with local customs requirements
- Administer SOPs/work instructions for import/export processes and conduct internal audits
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce customs clearance cycle time and enhance data accuracy
- 3–5+ years of experience in import/export and trade compliance, particularly within LATAM and U.S. CBP/FDA processes
- Proficiency in HTS classification, CBP entry processes, and FDA medical device requirements
- Strong familiarity with ERP/TMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Language proficiency in English;
Spanish is a plus but not essential
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, international business, or Supply Chain Management, with a preference for advanced degrees
- Experience with LATAM health authorities (e.g., ANVISA/COFEPRIS/INVIMA)
- Knowledge of EAR/ITAR basics and customs brokerage experience
- Familiarity with Honduran customs procedures and CAUCA/RECAUCA frameworks
- Experience in creating SOPs and leading audits
