Position: Dental Analyst I

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Perform daily audits on client data for completeness and accuracy of coding to ensure appropriateness for reimbursement
  • Respond to provider appeals of non-clinical issues and client logics and record reviews
  • Assess and respond to client/provider educational needs
  • Monitor acceptance rates for assigned clients and assist management in proactively detecting negative deviations
  • Contribute feedback to enhance editing efficiency and participate in the Quality Committee as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a clinical role in the dental office, as a Dental Assistant or Dental Hygienist
  • General knowledge of dental procedures, conditions, and treatment practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Dental coding certificate preferred, or the ability to sit for the credential
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Experience conducting training for internal staff and clients
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Experience participating in quality improvement initiatives
