Pulmonary Trained Intensivist

Join Bay Area Hospital as a full-time and experienced Pulmonary trained Intensivist serving the community of Coos Bay, Oregon and beyond. This is an opportunity to lead a team of ICU caregivers while providing patients of all ages with high quality care while seeing a variety of cases including, lumbar punctures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, EBUS, transbronchial biopsies, endotracheal intubation, central venous and arterial catheter placement, swan ganz, conscious and deep sedation and much more.

• Full-time role with large amount of autonomy
• Focus on pulmonary critical care as an intensivist
• This 12-bed Intensive Care unit accepts transfers from all over southern Oregon and northern California
• Team is supported by a remote intensivist team from OHSU in addition to in-house hospitalists and specialists
• The ICU sees high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab patients, as well as primary dialysis and sepsis
• Located in one of the most beautiful regions of the Oregon coast Compensation & Benefits:

• Up to $30,000 sign-on bonus is available
• Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus is available
  
  Qualifications & Requirements:
• Must be board-certified/board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology and Critical Care
• 2 to 5 years' experience post residency is required
• Must have completed a residency program in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology and or Critical Care
• J1 visa candidates are welcome to apply
