Compliance Specialist – Special Education & Section

• Full-time role with a structured schedule, typically 40+ hours per week

• Oversee compliance with Oklahoma’s 10-day intake IEP timeline for new students with existing IEPs
• Monitor IEP timelines for annual reviews, evaluations, and other key compliance events
• Provide training and ongoing support to staff regarding IDEA and Section 504 compliance
• Serve as a liaison between the Special Education department and other school departments
• Assist with instructional support and classroom substitute duties as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field
• Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate and Special Education certification required
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in special education, compliance, or a related role
• Demonstrated knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and Oklahoma State Department of Education regulations
• Proficiency with EdPlan and strong organizational skills

• Experience in compliance auditing or monitoring within a school setting
• Prior experience working in a virtual educational environment
