• Serve as a mentor and facilitator, providing guidance and academic support for nursing students
• Utilize various teaching methodologies to ensure students meet prescribed learning outcomes

• Maintain scholarly activities and participate in professional growth initiatives
• Assume responsibility for students in clinical settings, ensuring safety and optimal patient care

• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of prior experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care
• Minimum of three years of experience in the field in which they teach
• MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) required
• DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) or PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) required
• Professional nurse licensure required

• Experience working with online learning management systems to enhance student engagement
• Familiarity with compliance regulations related to nursing programs and state Board of Nursing requirements
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, especially Outlook, Word, and Power Point
