• Supervise, mentor, and develop CAD technicians and designers focused on substation engineering
• Assign and manage drafting workloads to meet project deadlines and budget constraints
• Maintain and enforce substation-specific CAD standards, templates, symbols, and libraries
• Perform QA/QC checks to ensure drawings meet client and industry standards
• Troubleshoot CAD issues and provide production support for complex substation drawings

• AS degree in Drafting and Design from an accredited institution, or HS diploma/Drafting Certificate with additional experience
• 5-10 years of drafting experience with AutoCAD and/or Micro Station
• 4+ years of experience in direct report supervision and people leadership
• Proficiency in manipulating vector and raster drawing files in AutoCAD and Micro Station
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities

• Experience with electric utility projects and physical drawings
• Familiarity with document management tools such as Project Wise, FTP, Share Point
• Experience in Doc Control and Drawing Records Management
• Ability to understand and implement a range of client CAD standards
• Experience with 3-D modeling in Micro Station and/or AutoCAD
