U.S. Financial Technology (U.S. Fin Tech) is seeking an experienced Governance, Risk and Compliance Lead - Financial Crimes to join our team of talented professionals. This is a full-time remote opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIESU.S. Fin Tech is seeking a Governance, Risk and Compliance Lead to manage aspects of our Financial Crimes Compliance program. The Lead will manage operations related to regulatory and control‑based programs, including privacy, fraud and anti‑money laundering, conduct control testing and monitoring, and assist in special projects. This position also serves as Compliance’s subject matter expert on Financial Crimes risks and controls.
The ideal candidate has excellent organizational/management and critical thinking skills plus experience in operations, program management or similar. Maintaining the Company’s compliance is critical to supporting the business, and this role will play a key part in ensuring a well‑controlled and compliant environment at U.S. Fin Tech. This is a visible and dynamic role that interacts with management and external stakeholders.
The role is a manager level and reports to the Director, Financial Crimes Compliance.
- Lead aspects of Compliance programs and initiatives
, including privacy, anti‑money laundering, fraud and other second line regulatory oversight such as Compliance reviews, transaction monitoring, and gap assessments, in consultation with the Chief Compliance Officer and Director, and with the assistance of other team members where appropriate - Conduct monitoring and second line control testing
, focused on assessing control effectiveness mitigating Financial Crimes risk and compliance with laws and regulations - Lead Compliance assessment of material third parties
, including analyzing third parties compliance programs to ensure risks to the Company are mitigated, communicating issues with internal and external stakeholders, documenting analysis, recommendations and findings, and performing ongoing monitoring - Special Projects – Manage and administer special projects based on departmental needs, also intended as growth opportunities such as creating presentations, presenting to management, developing new initiatives, and representing the department on cross‑functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience—compliance or business operations manager, risk or audit manager or related

- High level of reading comprehension and writing ability, able to read and understand regulations, guidance, risk and control language
