Operations Tax Specialist

• Analyze current tax data and processes to identify compliance risks and areas for improvement
• Lead initiatives to automate workflows and implement data-driven solutions
• Collaborate on the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure consistency across business units
• Act as a liaison between management and internal teams to address tax-related issues
• Support ongoing process enhancements and training for new tax operations

• Understanding of IRS tax forms and their purpose
• Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
• Familiarity with IRS regulations and tax laws
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Adaptability to new technologies and processes

• Familiarity with Power BI and/or Tableau
• Experience using tax reporting software (e.g., SOVOS)
• Ability to communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals
• Experience with the employer's products and systems
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a customer-service mindset
