What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Prepare Medicare/Medicaid cost reports and develop supporting schedules in compliance with government principles
  • Analyze and classify new cost centers to ensure accurate expense allocation
  • Extract and analyze compliant data using business intelligence software to identify variances
  • Stay current with CMS and State Medicaid regulations, communicating implications to leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist during audits by external parties
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor s degree in a related field
  • 7+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
  • 4+ years of Medicare cost reporting experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, and Business Intelligence software
  • Familiarity with CMS Medicare/Medicaid cost reports and various related worksheets
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Master s degree in a related field
  • CPA certification
