• Conduct comprehensive compliance audits and investigations across all affiliates
• Manage projects independently, including preparing governmental disclosures and facilitating external audits
• Develop and implement training programs to ensure compliance with coding, billing, and documentation practices
• Analyze compliance studies and perform risk assessments to identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with management to keep them informed of regulatory changes and assist in compliance initiatives

• AAS or BS in Health Information Management or Health Care Administration, with experience in healthcare compliance
• Minimum five years of healthcare experience, including at least three years in health care compliance
• Extensive knowledge and experience with ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT code assignment
• Required certifications: RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, or applicable AAPC certification
• Formal training in auditing preferred

• Five years of progressive healthcare coding experience
• Compliance Board Certification is a plus
• Relevant health care-related certification with experience may be considered in lieu of above certifications
