• Serve as the primary point of contact for patient services, ensuring timely access to medication therapy
• Collaborate with physician clinics to facilitate benefits verification and prior authorization services
• Educate and influence clinic staff to refer patients to the health system’s preferred specialty pharmacy provider
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinic staff, physicians, and pharmacy contacts
• Deliver professional presentations and facilitate educational meetings to enhance customer relationships

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Benefit Verification, Prior Authorization, Medical Billing, or related fields
• Pharmacy technician certification or comparable national/state certification required at time of hire
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance, prior authorization, and/or coding preferred
• Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
• Proven ability to work independently and effectively under pressure

• Prior client account management experience or other relevant healthcare experience
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical products and drug interactions
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to resolve patient issues creatively to improve customer satisfaction
