What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Coordinate and organize credentialing and privileging requests for physicians and advanced practice professionals
  • Verify and document credentials using acceptable verification sources to ensure compliance with accreditation standards
  • Investigate and validate discrepancies and adverse information obtained during the credentialing process
  • Maintain confidentiality and manage data entry and analysis of clinical provider information within the credentialing database
  • Collaborate with medical staff offices to ensure timely approval processes and participation in accreditation surveys and audits
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Minimum of 1 year of hospital regulatory credentialing experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience maintaining data in MD Staff or a similar credentialing database
  • Proficiency in MS Office required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
  • CPCS or CPMSM certification required within 24 months of hire if not already certified
  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
