Position: Pharmacist (PERM) Oregon

Responsibilities
  • Dispense medications accurately and provide comprehensive drug information to healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and ensure patient safety.
  • Oversee medication management systems, including inventory control and quality assurance.
  • Counsel patients on the proper use of medications and potential side effects.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and stay updated on new medications and pharmacy practices.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

    D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Oregon.
  • CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (current).
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
  • Previous experience working as a licensed Pharmacist in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, drug therapies, and pharmaceutical regulations.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant hospital experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
