- Manage execution and contribute to the development of multi‑year medical congress strategies aligned with the product lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create high‑quality, scientifically rigorous presentations and materials
- Support planning and execution of engagements with external experts and stakeholders
- Develop and implement global medical education strategies for relevant therapeutic areas
- Ensure compliance with global and local regulatory requirements for congress and medical education activities
- Advanced scientific or medical degree (Pharm
D, PhD, MD, or equivalent) preferred - Minimum of 12 years of experience in Medical Affairs, with approximately 5 years focused on congress strategy and execution
- Proven success managing matrixed, cross‑functional global teams and external vendors
- In‑depth understanding of industry compliance, regulatory frameworks, and ethical considerations for scientific engagement
- Excellent project management and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Additional business or communications training (MBA, MPH, etc.) preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading global congress strategy and IME programs
- Proven track record of successful congress planning and implementation, including digital solutions
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing large program budgets
- Ability to influence across matrixed teams and drive strategic initiatives
