• Review and abstract clinical data from electronic health records in accordance with NCDR standards
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure data accuracy and timely submissions
• Identify and track trends in clinical data, including complications and best practices
• Communicate findings and improvement opportunities effectively to management
• Maintain comprehensive data while resolving discrepancies and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare or a related field
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of workload

• Experience with clinical data abstraction or healthcare data management
• Familiarity with EPIC documentation and cardiac interventions
• Strong written and oral communication skills for performance reporting
• Background in process improvement initiatives
• Ability to complete necessary certifications for specific abstractions
