SQL database software - Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization solutions
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including backups, restores, and recovery procedures
- Manage database security, including user access, roles, and permissions
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, ensuring data integrity and performance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on Oracle and Postgre
SQL databases - Proven expertise in Oracle database administration, including RAC, Data Guard, and performance tuning
- Experience with Postgre
SQL administration, including replication and performance tuning
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Familiarity with cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database)
- Proficiency in database scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
