- Lead the technical direction and development of healthcare data and analytics platforms
- Design and implement scalable, secure solutions using GCP, Big Query, Iceberg, and Trino/Starburst
- Mentor engineering team members and ensure high standards through code reviews
- Collaborate with product and business teams to define requirements and deliver quality solutions
- Drive best practices in CI/CD, Dev Ops, testing, and automation to enhance platform efficiency
- 7+ years of experience in software or data engineering, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and cloud engineering, preferably with GCP
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools such as dbt, Iceberg, and Trino/Starburst
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues to maintain system reliability and performance
- Experience with API development or microservices
- Familiarity with Agile practices and tools like Jira/Confluence
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance in healthcare environments
- Experience with machine learning workflows, including Big Query ML and Vertex AI
