Systems Analyst

Overview

Employer Industry: Federal Government Services

• Provide project/program management support to the Directorate’s Engineering Branch, including problem identification and requirements analysis
• Support end users through remote assistance and follow-up for issue resolution
• Create and maintain training documentation and document systems process workflows
• Facilitate collaboration with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Working Groups to develop program and project plans
• Analyze developing capabilities and address issues in existing tools

• 3 to 10 years of experience with a bachelor's or master's degree in business, management, engineering, finance, or information management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Share Point
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to effectively solve problems and work as part of a team
• Familiarity with financial principles and operations research systems analysis

• Experience with the CBP Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Accountability (PPBA) framework and processes
• Previous work with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and/or U.S. Border Patrol (USBP)
• Familiarity with decision analysis methods for evaluating analytic tools and processes
• Experience with Clarity PPM Tool
• Active/Full U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Background Investigation (BI)
