• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the CMDB and HSAM systems, including user guides, administrator guides, and process documentation
• Execute a communication plan to keep stakeholders informed about project updates, release notes, and system notifications
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to gather feedback and advocate for user-friendly documentation
• Identify opportunities for improving documentation processes and stay updated on industry best practices
• Create training materials and ensure documentation aligns with system functionality and standards

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
• 15+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may substitute for 5 years of experience)
• 5+ years of experience as a technical writer in an IT environment
• Proven ability to create clear and concise documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail

• Experience documenting CMDB and/or asset management systems (e.g., Service Now, Flexera)
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Experience with screen capture and image editing software (e.g., Snagit, Adobe Photoshop)
• Understanding of ITIL principles and asset management best practices
