• Apply insurance rules, guidelines, and regulations to underwrite new and renewal policy transactions
• Review premium and loss data for individual accounts as part of the underwriting process
• Gather information to support underwriter decision‑making for new and renewal business
• Communicate with agents and customers to obtain necessary information for underwriting risks
• Analyze individual risk pricing for new business submissions and renewals

• Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience
• Crop insurance experience is preferred, but not required
• Ability to review insurance applications and other risk documentation
• Strong communication skills to interact with agents and customers
• Detail-oriented with the ability to investigate discrepancies in gathered information

• Previous experience in crop insurance or a related field
• Familiarity with insurance laws and regulations
• Proficiency in data entry and maintaining data integrity
