What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Handle calls on demand and provide interpretation between Cree and English speakers
• Maintain professionalism and use appropriate terminology and industry procedures
• Recognize sensitive cultural differences and adapt communication accordingly
• Remain calm and composed in emergency situations, such as 911 calls
• Follow client instructions and ensure client expectations are met

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Fluency in Cree and English, including cultural dynamics
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills
• Education or work experience in language-related fields preferred
• Ability to adapt to technological enhancements and meet client demands
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience in teaching, language assessment, translation, or interpretation
• Ability to read and write in requested languages
