- Serve as project manager for construction activities, overseeing all phases from initiation to closeout
- Develop and manage project scope, schedule, risk, and budget
- Conduct technical reviews of design and engineering drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with stakeholders on project progress and perform inspections
- Maintain project data in relevant systems and report on project progress and issues
- Ability to pass a government background investigation; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or business/management
- Minimum of 5 years of large-scale construction management experience or 7+ years of construction experience in lieu of a degree
- Professional certification in a relevant field such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of construction processes, standards, and codes
- Familiarity with accounting principles and engineering/architectural processes
- Understanding of the DHS acquisition process and OSHA regulations
- Proficiency in databases and software such as TRIRIGA, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with environmental regulations, including NEPA and SWPPP
