What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Lead and manage the successful delivery of complex smart grid projects and service contracts for utility customers
  • Serve as the principal customer interface and act as a trusted partner with customers and stakeholders
  • Oversee program schedules, management plans, and materials forecasts while coordinating project teams
  • Drive issues to resolution and manage customer expectations effectively
  • Report on the financial health of programs, including budgeting and forecasting
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems Management, or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in project management or a similar multi-disciplined business environment
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to communicate complex technical details effectively
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with utility customers and stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience in utility, telecommunications, or similarly regulated industries
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Fluency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Familiarity with risk management and issue management processes
