Why This Role Matters

As the Benefits, Compensation, & HR Shared Services Director, you’ll lead with purpose and precision. You’ll be responsible for the strategic direction, design, and administration of our benefits programs and HR operations, and support compensation across the U.S. and Canada. You’ll also lead a high‑performing team, streamline processes, and ensure we deliver best‑in‑class service to every employee.

Primary Responsibilities Benefits Strategy & Execution
  • Design and implement competitive, cost‑effective benefits programs that align with our business goals and support our people.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in all areas of benefits, with a particular focus on leave administration.
  • Evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships to ensure optimal value and service.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain compliance and market competitiveness.
  • Lead annual enrollment, communications, and employee education initiatives with clarity and impact.
  • Use data to drive decisions and communicate benefits clearly to all stakeholders—from executives to employees.
HR Shared Services Leadership
  • Develop and optimize processes, procedures, and controls to deliver consistent, high‑quality HR support.
  • Leverage technology and automation to streamline service delivery and improve employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on benefits and HR operations.
Compensation
  • Bring a depth of expertise and knowledge around base and variable pay, executive compensation, equity program management, regulatory compliance, and innovative compensation approaches and solutions.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to communicate the company’s compensation philosophy and structure.
  • Leverage data to support business decisions and recommendations.
  • Ensure employee recognition programs drive engagement and align with our culture.
Team & Culture
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team—building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth.

Exciting Candidates Have…
  • 8+ years of experience in benefits and shared services, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven expertise in benefits design and administration, especially leave management.
