Overview
Join to apply for the Sandblaster/Painter SOMAR role at Sause Bros. Ocean Towing Co., Inc.
Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces for painting by sandblasting, solvent cleaning, chipping, grinding, or other approved methods.
- Mix and apply paints and coatings as directed by the Paint Foreman SOMAR.
- Clean cargo, voids, and other spaces on company vessels and perform general shipyard housekeeping as directed by the Paint Foreman SOMAR.
This position operates with a high regard for personal and coworker safety and complies with the company Safety Management System (SMS) and state and federal health and safety standards.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to meet validated strength and endurance standards
